Received a letter from a man in Germany this past weekend requesting a hand drawn pig cartoon to add to his collection. Here's my piglet drawing along with a copy of other drawings he has received over the years. I am honored that my sketch will hang next to Mel Casson, Jim Scancarelli of Gasoline Alley, Will Eisner and Art Spiegelman!

Sometimes you have to step away from you computer and use other materials to create art. Here's what's going on here at my studio, torn/cut paper art! Found some vintage nudie photos in an old trunk while digging through an estate sale last month. I thought it would be sad to throw away all the photos so I came up with an idea using them in my artwork. At first, you don't notice the naked bits when looking at the pieces, but then... " hey is that a boob?" Yep. Why Saints as a subject you ask? Is it because I have a twisted sense of humor or interesting juxtaposition of religion and sin? You tell me.
